Perhaps it's because I love this bike. Perhaps it's because I got a new
Revelate frame bag. Perhaps it's because my other bikes are all in a mess right now. But for whatever reason, I commuted to work on the Troll today. Was it miserable, clunky and slow? No way! It was a blast to ride. My time was only about one minute slower than usual, too. I was cutting through fields and exploring new territory the entire way. And with the new Revelate bag, I may be doing more commutes like this. I'm looking forward to it.

Awesome! I was just getting ready to ask you if you would be interested in my Revelate half-frame bag, since it fits an 18" Troll. Looks like you also moved up to full frame pack. I ordered a custom one from my pal Scott at Porcelain Rocket... can't wait to get it and stuff it full of gear!

DeleteI would've gone with PR bags, too, if they had been in my price range and time frame. His stuff looks phenomenal, though.
DeleteThere's a fellow my way who has a BOB trailer on his Troll and delivers his kid to daycare with it every day. Basically commuting. Meeting up at a stop light once, he told me how perfect the Troll is for the city because of its sheer versatility.
